Growth Hormone Deficiency

Growth Hormone Deficiency, sometimes abbreviated GHD, is a syndrome that causes a reduction in the secretion of the growth hormone from the brain’s anterior pituitary gland. This deficiency in growth hormone by the pituitary gland causes the body not to grow properly as the body ages.
